Oikotoxicologia Research Group was established in 2017. Its vision is to develop and establish bioindicators that are accurate, sensitive, reproducible and selective to be used to assess aquatic ecosystem structures and functions. It is a dynamic interdisciplinary research hub for ECIs (in the field of molecular biology, environmental microbiology, environmental sciences and environmental and geotechnical engineering.

The content of each section is really personal, with their own untold story behind. It reflects our working philosophy. A think-tank, an invigorating environment for any early career investigator or experienced one, where you can grow and evolve through having critical friends and collaborators. We like to think of ourselves as living cells, in which all parts are essential, to a great extent equally important and have their function and complementarity.
